Each year menbers of the Hot Shots compete in the  Maryland Youth Hunters Education Challenge.
This program offers youth from across the state a chance to advance their hunting and saftey skills. This is done in an exciting experience that incorporates many of the situations encountered while hunting.

The Youth Hunter Education Challenge consists of the following:

.22 RIFLE                          MUZZLELOADING
SHOTGUN                              HUNTER RESPONSIBILITY
ARCHERY                              ORIENTEERING
HUNTER SAFETY TRAIL            WILDLIFE IDENTIFICATION
